Sales Account Manager – Online Marketing & Social Media

Heckford are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. As an Online Marketing & Social Media specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business as well as developing long term relationships with customers. The role combines business development and account management responsibilities and the ideal candidate will have at least 2 – 3 years sales experience within the Digital industry and a proven record in sales development.

The Role

  • Sell our range of Online Marketing & Social Media to prospective new and existing clients
  • Researching and developing new clients and business opportunities
  • Work in a consultative manner, advising the best solutions for customers
  • Management and development of existing accounts
  • Management of the sales process, including forecasting and reporting
  • Manage projects after winning the sale, liaising with the client and our Digital Marketing Team
  • Focused on continued sales growth through both new and existing customers
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team in order to maximise on any cross-selling opportunities
  • A desire to keep up to date with the latest Online Marketing & Social Media solutions

Requirements

  • At least 2 – 3 years’ experience within the Online Marketing & Social Media industry
  • Good working knowledge of all types of Online Marketing & Social Media
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills
  • Proven experience working towards sales targets
  • Highly organised with great presentation skills
  • Good phone manner
  • Full UK driving license and the ability and willingness to travel when required
