Signage Fitter/Installer

As a full-service design and creative agency, we have produced and installed high-quality signage for over 35 years. We are now looking for an experienced signage installer/fitter with an keen eye for detail to join our expanding team.

Heckford Signage, based in Preston, is part of the Heckford Group of companies. We provide complete signage and graphics solutions from concept design through to final installation.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sign & Graphics Fitter to join our busy installations team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a 'can do' attitude, a good team player with the ability to work independently or as a part of a team, be well organised with excellent time management skills, focused on attention to detail and highly confident with clients.

With clients around the UK, you must be willing to travel should the business dictate. Working hours will mostly be Monday to Friday but will vary to suit our clients needs. This will include days, nights, early mornings and possible weekends, so you will need to have a good flexible attitude towards working patterns.

This is a full time position with an immediate start available. We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience.


£18,000 - £24,000 per year (dependent on skills and experience)

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be required to work to our very high standards and precise deadlines across a varied and large client base. This role is therefore designed for a skilled fitter who has a minimum of 5 years experience in installing all types of signs, vinyl application and graphics.

A UK driving licence is essential.

CSCS, PASMA and IPAF cards would be beneficial but not essential (training can be given towards obtaining these).

Minimum of 5 years experience

PASMA, IPAF and various other industry qualifications would be an advantage but not essential as training & qualifications will be given for the successful applicant.
