Engaging new prospectus and signage design
Creating College prospectuses that engage with school leavers has been a key factor in our work for Priestley College for a number of years. Working closely with the college to promote Priestley as an exciting and innovative place to learn, we have designed and printed a number of striking prospectuses that appeal to potential students, parents and stakeholders alike.

The 2021 prospectus provided a sharp, eye-catching design utilising the College’s corporate colours with a combination of navy blue, grey and turquoise to create a striking colour palette. Graphically the prospectus features a geometric diamond pattern that takes inspiration from the diamond shapes found in the College’s logo.
Used as both as a way to frame images and as a background pattern the diamonds provided a method of connecting the prospectus design to Priestley’s branding. Print wise, we chose uncoated stocks to give the prospectus a tactile feel. The front and rear covers were enhanced by using silver foil on the College logo, making it stand off against the navy blue and adding a real touch of elegance. The College were keen to maintain an upmarket appearance with the prospectus and the subtle use of silver foiling really helped achieve this.
Education signage experts
Priestley also turned to Heckford to provide easy to follow directional signage across the Loushers Lane campus. Using corporate colours, we assessed the campus and developed a new signage scheme. From the main signage at the site entrance to directional fingerposts and external light boxes we have designed, manufactured and installed a variety of internal and external signage solutions for the college.
Stunning vehicle wraps
Our creativity was also showcased when we were asked to design, print and install a full vehicle wrap on a single decker bus used by the College. “The Knowledge Express” features famous scholars and local high achievers such as paralympic gold medalist Dame Sarah Storey. The wrap provided them with their very own ‘moving billboard’ and has been so successful that we’ve since completed wrapping a second vehicle.
We have worked with Heckford for 15 years and are always impressed with the professionalism they bring to the partnership. They seem to have a solution to every challenge we give them whether that be in print, external advertising or improvements to our college camp.
