Heckford Signage and Exhibitions are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exhibition Salesperson to join our terrific team in Preston. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in exhibition sales and a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

As an Exhibition Salesperson at Heckford, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building relationships with clients and partners. You will work closely with our marketing and events team to ensure the success of all exhibitions and events. Additionally, you will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential exhibitors to secure exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing clients, sponsors, and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage sales budgets to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads and insights.
  • Provide superior customer service throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to the closing of business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all exhibition materials and supporting documentation is up-to-date, high quality, and delivered on time.
  • Deliver regular and accurate reports on sales performance, including forecasting, pipeline management, and activity metrics.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in exhibition sales, with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive and successful relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using a range of sales tools, including CRM systems, social media, and online tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
