    Exhibition Stands and accompanying Branded Literature

The Client

FaceTec is a global leader in biometric security: the company provides 3D‑face verification and “liveness” detection software that lets businesses securely confirm a person is physically present using a 2‑second video selfie — even on standard webcams or phone cameras.

Founded in 2013, FaceTec now processes billions of 3D “liveness” checks annually, enabling secure identity onboarding, KYC, fraud prevention and remote re‑verification for banks, governments, e‑commerce and other high‑risk sectors worldwide.

Project Overview

We proudly secured the tender for FaceTec’s EU stand build—coming out on top against major international exhibition companies thanks to our creative thinking, smart strategy, and fresh approach to integrated marketing. 

FaceTec has been making serious waves in the biometrics world. With groundbreaking technology that boosts security and reliability for governments and major commercial clients, they needed a partner who truly understood their brand, products, and goals. Our mission? Create an immersive exhibition space that showcased their innovation and positioned them front and centre on the global biometrics stage.

Our journey began with their headline sponsorship at Identity Week Europe, where they held the largest stand at the event. We explored how our end-to-end exhibition services—from graphics and 3D design to full bespoke builds—could bring their vision to life. To kick things off, we presented a range of design possibilities to show just how much potential their space had to shine.

Objectives

This event was FaceTec’s first time exhibiting with a fully bespoke, space-only stand. Naturally, they wanted clarity on budget, process, and what a custom build could achieve. 

During our initial face-to-face meeting, we dug into their products and how they wanted these to be presented. Because their solutions are software-based, it was essential to include multiple demo stations that were functional, accessible, and welcoming. At the same time, the stand needed to look bold and inviting, offering room for meetings, conversations, and refreshments. 

A key focus was their UR Codes technology—QR codes containing digitally signed biometric data. Since this game-changing product lacked existing marketing material, FaceTec trusted us to design everything from their stand graphics to their printed collateral and merchandise.  

Creative Strategy and Concept Development

To help FaceTec visualise the possibilities for their island stand (open on all sides, 6m x 8m), we created two design routes: a mid-range option and a high-end bespoke option. 
Both made smart use of the 48sqm space but took different creative approaches. 

Version 1: Clean, impactful and efficient

This version offered a simple yet highly effective layout:

Three demo stations for product showcases
A striking north-facing elevation positioned directly at the entrance
A tall fascia, bold UR Codes graphics, and an illuminated welcome desk
A central storage room disguised with graphic panels
Full 360° access for visitors
Subtle lighting elements to create a modern, tech-forward vibe

Version 2: Bespoke, bold and immersive

This version took things up a level, introducing:

Bespoke hanging signage
LED features and lightbox walls
Unique branded structures
Premium demo zones and sleek meeting spaces

The Final Decision

FaceTec chose Version One for its adaptability, strong visuals, and efficient layout—ideal for their global exhibition plan. It gave them the attention-grabbing look they wanted, while staying flexible and easy to roll out across future events. 

Graphic Design

Thanks to our in-house creative team, we were able to support FaceTec not just with the stand build, but also with all their printed material, graphics, and merchandise. 

With limited marketing content to start from, we sat with their team to understand their brand, technology, and voice. This groundwork helped us shape clear and exciting ideas for their leaflets and stand graphics, making sure the information was easy to understand without losing its technical edge. 

To get the best results, we fully immersed ourselves in the biometrics world. We explored competitor branding, tone of voice, visuals, and industry trends to pinpoint exactly how FaceTec could stand out. This inspired us to create designs that were modern, informative, and distinctly FaceTec. 

We produced two strong brochures—one showcasing FaceTec’s wider capabilities and another dedicated to UR Codes. Both were built to be flexible and reusable, allowing the content to flow seamlessly across their exhibition graphics and future marketing materials. 

The result? A polished, consistent and elevated brand presence across every touchpoint.

Continued Partnership

Thanks to the success of the EU event, FaceTec quickly entrusted us with designing and fabricating their US exhibition stand just seven weeks later in Washington. We adapted the design to meet US regulations and enhanced the build with additional features, including a hanging sign and further LED elements. The result was another standout space and another successful event. 

Our collaboration continues today. We support FaceTec with updated graphics, printed materials, and merchandise for their global event programme. Looking forward to 2026, we’ll be supporting them at their EU and US shows once again—and expanding into Africa with a new stand design and build for the ID4Africa event in the Ivory Coast.
